World record and Gold medal in the 100 metres breaststroke and silver medal in the 50 metres breaststroke (28.91 N.R.) at the FINA World Short Course Championships. Silver in the 50 metres breaststroke and bronze in the 100 metres breaststroke at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasglow, Scotland.

Alia Atkinson was again outstanding in the FINA World Cup Short Course Series, finishing 3rd overall on points. She won five of the six events over 50 metres breaststroke and an astonsishing six of the seven 100 metres breaststroke events. She is ranked #1 in the world of short course for both the 50 metres breaststroke and 100 metres breaststroke and #2 for the 200 metres breaststroke.
