For her achievement in winning the 100 metres title at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing, China with a brilliant run of 10.76 seconds. This was her 3rd world 100m title after previous triumphs in 2009 and 2013 and was her 5th title in the last 6 major championships (including the last two Olympic Games). The “Pocket Rocket” also anchored the women’s 4X100 metres Relay team to victory in a championship record 41.07 seconds. Fraser-Pryce was the only Diamond Race winner for Jamaica in the 2015 IAAF Diamond League, winning the diamond for the 100 metres with a perfect 4 wins from 4 starts. She ran a World Leading 10.74 in Paris in the Diamond League and led the 4X100 metres Relay team to victory at the IAAF World Relays in the Bahamas.
